The project involves surveying and collecting data on the rubberized asphalt and concrete pavements, covering a minimum distance of 40,000 km within the responsibility area of Highway Offices 1-18, in collaboration with the Transportation Institute, Chulalongkorn University, and the Research and Consultancy Center, Thammasat University. The survey in the northern region covers a minimum distance of 15,000 km, utilizing LCMS survey vehicles equipped with GNSS satellite-based positioning systems and a set of laser equipment for measuring and calculating international roughness index (IRI), mean profile depth (MPD), rutting, and surface distress.
