Surveying and measuring water flow and conducting beach level surveys to establish baseline data for shoreline change analysis from 2024 onwards, Laem Chabang Port Development Project Phase 3 (Sections 1 to 4).

TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Public Company Limited hired S.T.S. Green Co., Ltd. to conduct water flow surveys and beach level surveys to establish baseline data for shoreline change analysis from 2024 onwards, as part of the environmental impact monitoring measures for Laem Chabang Port Development Project Phase 3.

S.T.S. Green Co., Ltd. conducted beach profile surveys at Bang Lamung Bay using 13 pairs of coastal sea-facing reference points in the Bang Lamung Bay area, utilizing GNSS signal receivers, Echo sounders, and Total station cameras for data collection. Additionally, water flow speed and direction measurements were conducted at two stations, namely, the Laem Chabang Port watercourse and the Bang Lamung canal, continuously for 16 days using Electromagnetic Current meters and Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP). Furthermore, an automatic water level measuring device (Water Level Logger) was installed at one station to measure water level values at the Bang Lamung canal.
